Terms & Conditions
The terms that govern your use of our website and services.
Last updated: April 2026
1. Introduction
These terms and conditions govern your use of the website www.payforclearance.co.uk ("the Site") and the services provided by Pay For Clearance ("we", "us", "our"). By using our website or engaging with our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.
2. Our Service
Pay For Clearance is a clearance stock buying service. We purchase job lots, pallets, surplus inventory, end-of-line stock, Amazon returns, warehouse clearance stock, and other excess goods from businesses and individuals across the United Kingdom. All quotes and offers are non-binding until both parties have confirmed agreement in writing (including email or WhatsApp message).
3. Quotes and Offers
- All quotes we provide are estimates based on the information you give us (descriptions, photos, quantities). They are not legally binding offers.
- Quotes are valid for 7 days from the date they are issued, unless otherwise stated.
- A binding agreement is only formed when both parties confirm the deal in writing (this includes confirmation via email, WhatsApp, or text message).
- We reserve the right to adjust or withdraw a quote if the stock, upon inspection, differs materially from the description or photos provided.
- We are under no obligation to purchase any stock, and you are under no obligation to accept any offer we make.
4. Payment Terms
- Once a deal has been agreed and the stock has been inspected and collected, payment will be made within 24 hours.
- Payment is made via bank transfer to the account details you provide. It is your responsibility to ensure the bank details you give us are correct.
- In some cases, payment may be made at the point of collection, subject to prior agreement.
- All prices are agreed in British Pounds (GBP).
5. Collection
- We offer free collection for agreed purchases. Collection will be arranged at a mutually convenient date and time.
- You are responsible for ensuring that the stock is accessible and ready for collection at the agreed time. If we are unable to collect due to access issues or the stock not being available, we may need to rearrange, which could affect the agreed price.
- The stock must match the description and condition provided when the quote was given. If it does not, we reserve the right to renegotiate the price or decline the purchase.
- Risk and ownership of the stock transfers to us once collection is complete and payment has been made.
6. Stock Description Accuracy
You are responsible for providing an accurate and honest description of the stock you wish to sell, including:
- The type, brand, and category of products
- Approximate quantities
- Condition (new, used, damaged, mixed, etc.)
- Any known defects or issues
- Whether the stock is subject to any third-party claims or restrictions
If the stock is found to be significantly different from what was described, we reserve the right to renegotiate the price, adjust the quantity purchased, or cancel the transaction entirely.
7. Ownership and Title
By selling stock to us, you confirm that you are the legal owner of the goods (or are authorised to sell them on behalf of the owner) and that the goods are free from any liens, charges, or encumbrances. You agree to indemnify us against any claims arising from a dispute over ownership of stock sold to us.
8. Limitation of Liability
- Our liability to you in connection with any transaction shall not exceed the purchase price agreed for that particular stock.
- We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental losses arising from our services or your use of this website.
- We do not guarantee the availability of our services at all times and accept no liability for any downtime or interruption of the website.
- Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
